I wanted to share behind-the-scenes of the event I attended and hosted last Wednesday for H&M‘s grand re-opening of their Powell St store in San Francisco. I arrived along other lovely SF Bloggers to the new store, and got an early preview of the new store. It was such a pretty sight, the entire store was organized and sectioned off in different mini departments: accessories and shoes in the back on the first floor, work attire and popular trends in the front area, and the 2nd level included Men’s clothing and the children’s collection. What was interesting is it had this secret middle level, you can only get to via the stairs. It holds a lot of fitting rooms; the entire ambiance and setting of the new store was very trendy, fun, and modern.
From this post here, I was able to partner with H&M to bring a fun challenge, where the first Inspirafashion reader in line who tweeted at me and H&M with the hashtag #SFLovesHM was able to win a style consultation by me, early access to the store, and a head-to-toe outfit! Clock struck 8:45am and the first lucky reader who tweeted was Drew, he was super sweet and it was so much fun styling him! It’s always fun styling guys, maybe it comes naturally because I have three younger brothers. He looked super stylish and classy in a full gray suit we picked out for him and styled underneath a light blue polka dot shirt.
Just wanted to give a shoutout to H&M and say thank you so much for having me, I had a blast. And a big thank you also to the readers who entered the challenge! I hope you guys had fun if you were able to visit the store on opening day, or if not, hopefully you browsed by to see the new layout for your Christmas shopping!
